Netmon Performance Review
Our technical staff will review and optimize disk, database and application performance.
Eliminate any database or application issues which could result in poor performance
Review hard drive performance to ensure a healthy disk
Tweak application settings to provide the best performance and disk usage
Review of Network Infrastructure
A review and discussion of your infrastructure and Netmon's role in it. Based on your provided network diagram and a follow-up conversation we:
Review traffic monitoring methods in use.
Verify full coverage of monitored network segments.
Provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements in terms of design and hardware.
Discuss and advise on any overall network issues you are experiencing.
Review of Monitored Services
Help you ensure complete coverage and optimal tracking of your network services.
Review existing disk, URL, TCP and ICMP trackers.
Compare monitored services against network diagram and identify any gaps.
Identify and configure conditionals if required.
Identify any web sites or applications to be monitored and construct monitoring strings, if required.
Device Review
Review and optimize your SNMP device monitoring
Review SNMP devices being monitored. Ensure that best-fit dashboards are in use.
Assist with MIB review of monitored devices and identify potentially useful OID trackers.
Configuration of Syslog and Event Log Monitoring
Help you make full use of this highly useful but under-used Netmon feature
Identify SYSLOG data sources in your network.
Work with you to prioritize and implement SYSLOG monitoring for critical devices, including alert configuration.
Report Review and Design
Identify gaps or data issues in your reporting. Make sure you're measuring what you want to measure!
Based on your environment, we will review your existing Netmon reports and advise you what other reports or report parameters might be useful to you.
