Independent software vendor Netmon Inc. is proud to announce the release of Netmon 3.5, the fourth generation of its flagship network monitoring system.

The newest release features many enhancements, including a network autodiscovery service, SNMP autodiscovery, a built-in SNMP MIB walker/browser, integrated SNMP trap handling, and increased performance. Netmon’s Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocol analyzers have also been optimized and updated.

Netmon is sold as a pre-configured appliance, which is designed to be easily deployed in a wide variety of IP network environments. A built-in email and pager alert system notifies network administrators and technicians of important events, such as service failures, performance bottlenecks or policy violations.
