Netmon is a global technology leader in network monitoring and management systems. Netmon software are used by businesses and institutions around the world, including many Fortune 500 companies such as Lockheed Martin, Turner Enterprises, Raytheon, Time-Warner Cable, Marvell Semiconductor, Shaw Communications and more. In addition, many smaller network environments are now enjoying Netmon Software Edition because of the high performing functionalities and capabilites without expensive hardware.

Netmon products have been developed to address the needs of network administrators and network engineers, from performance management to diagnostics and fault monitoring. These products are sold as software solutions.

Our History

Netmon was originally founded in 2002 by Next Dimension. The division of Netmon was subsequently purchased outright by one of the founding partners (Eric Lamoureux) of Next Dimension.

The vision for the company is provide best-of-class network and environmental management and monitoring products that are easy to use and affordable.

Product History

2007 - Nov - Netmon 4.8 released.
2007 - Oct - Netmon SE released.
2007 - July - Netmon 4.6 released.
2007 - Jan - Netmon 4.5 released.
2006 - Aug - Netmon 4.1 released. This release introduced a number of user requested features, including the ability to monitor Windows services.
2006 - Aug - Netmon Inc moves operations into its new corporate headquarters.
2006 - Jun - Netmon Inc separates from the Next Group of Companies as a fully independent, privately held corporation.
2006 - Apr - Netmon 4.0 released, featuring numerous performance and stability improvements along with the largest number of new features added to date. This period also included the launch of Netmon Enterprise and VM Editions, and begins Netmon Inc's entry into the environmental monitoring segment.
2006 - Feb - Netmon 3.6 released. A few new features, including raw packet capture support and a couple of additional reports. This release was essentially a service update.
2005 - Nov - Introduction of the new Netmon Partner (VAR) Program.
2005 - Oct - Netmon 3.5 released. The first Netmon version built on our new MADNET application framework. MADNET provides a secure, robust middlware platform which is built for modularity and expansion.
2005 - July - Netmon 3.1 released. Focused on stability improvements and bugfixes, along with a few new features, this version was essentially a service release.
2005 - Apr - Netmon 3.0 released. An extensive overhaul of the previous version, including another brand new user interface. This version offered the most new features added to date in a single release cycle.
2005 - Mar - Netmon Inc. launches its partner / reseller initiatives and begins marketing the Netmon server appliance on a North American basis.
2005 - Feb - Netmon Inc. launched as a separate corporate entity under the Next Group of Companies umbrella.
2003 - 2004 Work is focused on an extensive application overhaul, including a switch to the Debian Linux operating system.
2003 - Oct - Netmon 2.0 released under the Next Dimension namplate. This version offered a handful of new features, as well as a redesigned user interface.
2002 - Nov - Netmon 1.0 released under the Next Dimension nameplate to a local early-adopter market.
